Conservation

Earth’s natural resources include air, minerals, plants, soil, water and wildlife. Conservation is the care and protection of these resources for future generations and seeks the sustainable use of nature by humans, while preservation focuses on protecting nature from human use.

My contributions have included sitting on several Board of Directors, teaching in Belize, leading expeditions and creating websites for several conservation organizations. More recently, I have voiced opinions on a number of issues in Collingwood, Ontario, where we have retired to.
