We switched to a mostly plant based diet six years ago after a serious health diagnosis and after watching The Gamechangers and Forks Over Knives. That led to my reading Healing and Prevention through Nutrition, Superlife, How Not to Die, Fibre Fueled and many other whole food plant based diet books by leading experts, which helped solidify my principles for healthy eating.
A plant-based diet consists of all minimally processed fruits, vegetables, whole grains, legumes & nuts and excludes all animal products.
We are currently Pescatarian and mindful of what we eat.
